Notification on Mac Browser

I'm having issues getting the browser notification on Firefox 11.4 on mac Big Sur 11.4. Can you help? This is what I'm currently getting in the console:

I did get the notification object in my console at one point, but it didn't pop up.

I have send notifications allowed as well as cross-site cookies enabled for google. I haven't been able to get it to work for Chrome, either.

The computer has an Apple M1 chip, if that's relevant at all.

Hi!

All seems working in the console.
Can you please enable debug log inside the Android app and try to create a new reminder.
Ones the reminder fires and you don't get any info in the browser send me the log.
And please let me know ones you have sent it.

I have sent the logs as directed. There was also an error that appeared in the browser console while I was waiting for the notification:

rijarob Thanks, as of the logs it will be sent correctly to the browser without any error messages.
So there must be any problem with the browser.

Have you enabled and allow the notifications for the webpage web.colreminder.com?

rijarob Just uploaded the new COL Reminder Web version 1.1!
Can you please hit F5 refresh and check if you have version 1.1.

If not please try to clear the cache.

Hi @chrisonline , I got it to work with Safari and see the Snooze/Dismiss option there. I still don't see it for FireFox or Chrome. For my own use, I don't need those, but happy to help you troubleshoot if you want.

This is what I had written before discovering that Safari works:
I do have version 1.1 now and still not getting alerts. I get the DOMException: IDBDatabase.transaction: 'firebase-installations-store' is not a known object store name error when loading the page. This is FireFox. Tested on Chrome, and I'm not getting notifications there, either.

rijarob Thanks for the info.

Can you please open "Chrome" and again the Console.
Now please go to "Application".

Select now "Service Workser".

Do you see an entry? And If yes, which status does this entry have?

Now please click on "Unregister" at the top right.

Hit F5 in the browser and you should see again a service worker.
Now it should be shown as "Status activated and is running".

Try again if it is now working.

After trying that, it does work on Chrome on both Windows and Mac, at least in the short term. Trying out in FireFox, the firebase service keeps stopping. I'm not sure how to look at it in Safari.

Edit for clarity — in FF, it stops what looks to be every 30 seconds.
